About Me

Natalie Liberatore holds experience as a special education teacher who has worked closely with young children in a variety of settings. While still an undergraduate student at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Natalie Liberatore assisted children with autism at the Neuropsychiatric Institute, where she performed a detailed analysis of early-intervention strategies; the results of her research were eventually published in the Pacific State Archives. Natalie Liberatore also served as a Special Education Intern at the McKinley Preschool in Santa Monica, California, where she collaborated with other educators seeking to support children with a variety of learning and communication difficulties.rnrnFollowing her graduation from UCLA with honors in 2005, Natalie Liberatore became a Senior Instructional Companion at the Tarzana, California-based Institute for Applied Behavioral Analysis. She provided behavioral therapy to young children on the autism spectrum in classroom, home, and community settings. She also analyzed data, prepared progress reports, coordinated daily activities for each child’s instructional team, and trained new staff members. From 2006 to 2011, Natalie Liberatore worked in the classrooms of Arbor Bay School: as a kindergarten, third-grade, and fourth-grade Co-Teacher and as Lead Teacher of a modified first-grade classroom for students with moderate learning and language disabilities. Currently, Natalie Liberatore divides her time between serving as a Special Education Tutor for students at Arbor Bay School and the surrounding community and working privately with two children, ages three and five, in the San Carlos, California, area.

Natalie Liberatore received her Education Specialist Credential in Mild to Moderate Disabilities in 2010 from San Francisco State University, where she also pursues a Master of Arts in Special Education. She actively contributes to Walk Now for Autism in the Bay Area and supports the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In her spare time, Liberatore enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
