Linnie Phebus

Helping people make smart decisions about their money, Linnie Phebus is currently serving as Senior Vice President of Frost Wealth Advisors, a division of Frost Bank, a position she has held since 1999.

Prior to joining Frost Bank, Ms. Phebus functioned as an important component of H.D. Vest Investment Services. Training representatives nationwide, Linnie Phebus instructed representatives and staff on H.D. Vest’s financial planning system. In recognition of her outstanding service, Ms. Phebus was named Vester of the Year in 1995. While completing requirements for Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Certified Fund Specialist (CFS), Linnie Phebus also helped author several of the firm's sales kits, marketing scripts, and marketing letters. Promoted to Financial Planning Senior Manager in 1998, she then assumed responsibility for generating package product revenue for the firm, encouraging representatives to maximize sales in money management services, estate planning, insurance, and mutual funds. While selling proprietary, fee-based products, Ms. Phebus assisted in increasing monthly sales of the company’s $1.4 billion in managed funds to $50 million a month. Her responsibilities included the recruitment and training of the company’s internal sales force, which was responsible for the support of 6,500 representatives across the United States.

Since joining Frost Bank, Linnie Phebus has spearheaded numerous efforts for business development. Focusing on prospects with more than $500,000 in available assets for investment, Ms. Phebus identifies opportunities through ongoing referrals from clients and business professionals. She has created and presented multiple investment strategy seminars, and has been a frequent guest on area TV shows in Austin, where she spoke on a variety of financial topics. In 2003 and 2004, Linnie Phebus was recognized by Frost Wealth Advisors as a Top Producer, and received the Referral Reward in 2002 and 2005. Ms. Phebus continues to average $10 million in new assets every year, and as of 2011, has achieved more than $38 million.
