Jared West founded The Mantis Knife Company in 2006 and currently heads design and manufacturing as Chief Executive Officer. Highly reputed for its elegant design and advanced technology, Mantis Knives boasts a wide and innovative array of knives while remaining committed to lavishing the highest quality craftsmanship on each and every knife. Mantis Knives partners with dealers in over 40 countries worldwide. As CEO, Jared West continues to forge new markets and clients around the globe, further increasing the success and profitability of his company. Jared West received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Loyola Marymount University, in Los Angeles, California. As an undergraduate, West participated in the athletics program and still holds the weight room record for the highest number of 155 lb. military repetitions at one time. Jared West has acted in a variety of executive marketing and sales roles at high-profile companies, such as Westwayz International Trading, Polaroid, and The Sharper Image. These experiences equip West with invaluable skills and insight into growing and developing a successful company. Aside from his professional pursuits, Jared West supports a number of charitable causes and organizations. West contributes to The Salvation Army, the Sportsmen Helping Children Fund, and The Crossings Church. Jared West maintains a physically active lifestyle, spending as much as time outside as he can.
