ISA Experience

Designed to help people of various backgrounds and ages become their best selves, the isa Experience begins with acceptance. Established by Ole Larsen in 1977, the educational organization provides individuals with the motivation to channel their inner truth through exercises, discussions, and other activities. Embodying the slogan “Your word is law in your universe,” the isa Experience asserts that each person’s power comes from within. Instead of providing predetermined instruction, the programs offered through the isa Experience serve as an impetus for self-knowledge. Courses encourage pupils to turn an objective lens on their lives while refraining from harsh judgment. This openness proves instrumental in the navigation of love, careers, and family. Through their engagement with the isa Experience, students discover abilities they likely always possessed but were unable to tap into, and they emerge prepared to take the helm of their lives. Currently, the isa Experience offers four distinct programs. The Young Persons Experience, which accepts students from 6 to 13 years of age, integrates aspects of summer camp with useful exercises in self-exploration. In addition to engaging in exciting wilderness training activities, the students participate in discussions concerning potentially confusing issues, including family and other relationships, ethics, values of self, fears, and responsibilities. At the close of camp, the students' families arrive to share in their new knowledge.
