George Nassef

About Me

Combining his expertise in computer and management information systems with his strong leadership skills, George Nassef has forged a successful career in the complex and ever-changing field of information technology. Since 2009, George Nassef has served as chief technology officer for AdCirrus Ltd, a company that supplies cloud computing-based advertising services to entities such as direct advertisers and ad networks. In addition to overseeing all technological components of the operation, Nassef directs the activities of a variety of IT professionals.

Throughout his career, George Nassef has demonstrated the ability to develop and implement numerous IT initiatives while simultaneously motivating and directing other workers. Nassef began his career as a programmer with American Airlines in 1987 and was promoted to a supervisory role. In 1991, George Nassef progressed to the position of manager for technology planning and architecture. In addition to fine-tuning his managerial skills, George Nassef’s technological accomplishments at American included the development of engineering solutions for data exchanges and the introduction of advanced technologies for use with the SABRE airline reservation systems.

George Nassef has served as Chief Information Officer for a number of New York City-based firms, including HotJobs.com, ValetNoir Inc., and MIVA Inc. In the MIVA position, Nassef parlayed a 90-day temporary turnaround position into a 12-month role, helping to vet potential buyers for the eventual successful sale of the division.

George Nassef demonstrates his concern for the plight of homeless, mistreated, and endangered animals by supporting causes such as the ASPCA, PETA, and the World Wildlife Fund. Other charitable interests include the Coalition for the Homeless and City Harvest.
