Dr. Greg Fors

About Me

As the owner and Clinical Director of the Blaine, Minnesota-based Pain & Brain Healing Center, Dr. Greg Fors combines several alternative and biomedical approaches when treating chronic pain, fatigue, and neurological conditions affecting his patients. With more than 25 years of functional medicine and nutritional care, Dr. Fors established his newest clinic in 2008.

Dr. Fors performs a number of duties for the clinic, handling the business aspects of operating the practice while providing acupuncture treatments, myofascial work, dietary consultations, brain-balance therapy, and other direct patient care services. Based on the expertise he uses to treat patients at his clinic, Dr. Greg Fors wrote a bestselling book on these health restoration methods titled, "Why We Hurt." The book includes self-care considerations that patients can use to restore health on their own, as well as additional information regarding the health benefits of biomedical treatments.

Dr. Fors received his Doctor of Chiropractic from the Northwestern College of Chiropractic. He later became a certified acupuncturist at the Occidental Institute of Chinese Medicine in Portland, Oregon, before adding degrees in applied herbal sciences and neurology from Northwestern Health Sciences University.

In addition to his educational background, Dr. Greg Fors has added several certifications from industry governing bodies. He is a doctor of chiropractor and a board-certified chiropractic neurologist, recognized by the American Chiropractic Autism Board. Dr. Fors is also a Defeat Autism Now! Doctor, acknowledged by the Autism Research Institute.

Outside of work, Dr. Greg Fors enjoys spending time in nature by hiking, cross-country skiing, and sailing. His other hobbies include gardening, landscaping, and attending museums, concerts, and other performing arts events.
