About Me
One of the most accomplished executives in the Marketing industry, David Strumeier is guiding Mizco International’s Travelocity Accessory brand to global success. David Strumeier’s proven track record of building brands has been sensational. He founded Pro Player in 1987 and later sold the company to Fruit of the Loom for $50 Million. He was named one of the Brandweek ‘Marketers of the Next Generation’ in 1996 for the accomplishment of re-naming Joe Robbie Stadium in Florida; Pro Player Stadium.Additionally, he launched Perry Ellis’s first ever line of athletic footwear in 1998 and spearheaded sales to $50 Million. In 2009 he launched the RS by Sheckler brand of apparel for Wicked Fashions. This license quickly gained national recognition using the likeness of Ryan Sheckler in its apparel. David Strumeier has worked with the National Basketball Association, National Football League, Major League Baseball, Warner Brothers Licensing, and many professional sports franchises.
In addition he has appeared live on ESPN, MSNBC and other networks to discuss licensing and marketing. Taking time from his demanding schedule to read, David Strumeier cites James Patterson and John Grisham among his favorite authors. A longtime sports fan, David Strumeier also golfs, lifts weights, and is a member of the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials (IAABO).
David Strumeier received his degree in Commerce/Business at Rider University in New Jersey, where he majored in marketing and psychology. He resides in New Jersey and is the proud father of five children.
